Message from GNT Leader – June 2025 Edition
Dear GNT Family,
Thank you for your continued support of our team’s activities.
How are you? Every year, our team is particularly busy from June to August because we hold various events centered around GIC. However, I enjoy this time of year because I get to meet many new people.
I am writing this message at APU, and I am very happy to have met another wonderful camp leader today.
Among this year’s camp leaders, it seems that not many have experience with KUMON. However, they are seriously trying to learn about KUMON, and seeing their efforts makes me feel happy. .
From now until August camp, we will conduct training using the program prepared by my team members, and I look forward to seeing the young members grow as camp leaders.
GIC will be held again in early August this year. Applications are being accepted until July 6, so if you are a student in elementary school or younger and are interested, please contact us. Alumni and former camp leaders are also welcome to contact us if you are interested.
While preparing for the camp, our team is also preparing for “My Recommended Event.” This event, now in its second year, will be held on July 27. This time, we plan to introduce each other’s favorite books. Last year, when we held the same event, it was a huge success. Book introductions will primarily be conducted in English, but participation in Japanese is also possible, so those who love books are encouraged to join us.
If you’re someone who wants to hear a lot of English again or challenge yourself to speak it, you’re more than welcome to join us. Participation is open to middle school students and above, so let’s meet online!

お元気ですか。毎年、6月から8月は私たちのチームは特に忙しいです。なぜならGICを中心に、様々なイベントを行うからです。しかし私は、新しい人に沢山であうので、この時期を楽しむことが出来ています。
今、私はこのメッセージをAPUの中で書いていますが、今日も魅力的なキャンプリーダーに出会えてとても嬉しいです。
今年のキャンプリーダーの中でも、KUMONの学習経験がある人は多くないようですが、GICに向かって、KUMONのことを真剣に学ぼうとしている彼らを見ると、嬉しい気持ちなります。
これから、8月のキャンプまで、私のメンバーが準備をしてくれたプログラムを用いて研修を行いますが、若い彼らがキャンプリーダーとして成長してくれることを楽しみにしています。
GICは今年も8月上旬に実施します。募集は7月6日まで行っていますので、ご興味のある、小学生以下の生徒さんはお問い合わせください。OB、OGや元キャンプリーダーの皆様もご興味がありましたらご連絡ください。
私たちのチームはキャンプの準備を進めながら、「My Recommended Event」の準備もしています。2年目となるこのイベントは、7月27日に実施いたします。
今回はお互いの好きな本について、紹介しあう予定です。去年、同じ内容で行った時もとっても盛り上がりました。本の紹介は、主に英語を使って行いますが、日本語での参加も出来ますので、本が好きな人は是非ご参加ください。
久しぶりに、英語を沢山聞きたいな。話すことにチャレンジしたいな、と思われる方がいれば勿論参加OKです。中学生以上からの参加になりますが、オンライン上でお会いしましょう！
