“My Recommended Person” Event 2025

10 participants | Cozy, heart‑warming online session

On January 25th, we held a warm and inspiring installment of our “My Recommended Book, Place to Travel, or Person” series, this time focusing on Recommended Person. A total of 10 participants joined, creating an intimate and cozy space where everyone could share freely.

More than simply introducing admirable people, participants opened up about why these individuals matter to them. The result was a heart‑warming atmosphere filled with respect, curiosity, and laughter.

A Circle of Inspiring Figures

Participants introduced a variety of inspiring people, from global leaders to personal role models. Among those introduced were:

  • “Rome was not built in one day” – a timeless reminder shared through one participant’s story.
  • A Vietnamese family at the Japan Embassy – admired for their resilience and kindness.
  • Michelle Obama – for her leadership, empathy, and advocacy.
  • Dr. Tedros Adhanom – Director-General of WHO, appreciated for his global health leadership.

These introductions sparked meaningful conversations about perseverance, responsibility, and hope.

Final Thoughts

  • This session wasn’t just about recommending a person, it became a space of storytelling, laughter, identity, and connection across different countries and generations.
  • The heartfelt introductions, combined with the playful chat moments, showed once again how strong and warm this community is.
