Message from GNT Leader – April 2025 Edition
Dear GNT Family,
Thank you all for your continued support of our team’s activities.
We mainly provide opportunities for children who attend Kumon classes to use the English they have learned. Specifically, the Global Immersion Camp (GIC) and English Immersion Hour (EIH), which you are all familiar with, are such opportunities.
Since I came to this team in July 2023, I have been working to make more Kumon classroom instructors aware of these opportunities.
This has been effective and we have recently had more people attend each of our events than ever before.
There is now a possibility that we will have more children than capacity to participate in the EIH to be held in May this year.
This makes us very happy as a team. We hope that many Japanese children will feel the joy of being able to communicate in English. We also hope that they will feel the difficulty of communicating their thoughts in English, and that this will encourage them to study English harder every day.
Now, our events are made possible by the cooperation of many group leaders. We really appreciate your cooperation every time, but our activities in 2025 will not be possible without the cooperation of many international students.
We are also accepting applications for GIC and EIH group leaders on the KEIA website, and we hope that you will apply according to your schedule.
We are looking forward to supporting you in making this a great experience for you and your team members.

いつも当チームの活動を応援して下さり有難うございます。
私たちは主にKUMONの教室に通う子どもたちを対象に、彼らが学んだ英語を使う機会を提供しています。具体的には、皆さんも良くご存じのグローバルイマージョンキャンプ（GIC）やイングリッシュイマージョンアワー（EIH）が、その機会にあたります。
私はこのチームに来た2023年7月以来、この機会をもっと多くのKUMON教室の先生に知ってもらいたいと考え、活動を続けてきました。
その効果があってか、最近は以前よりも多くの方に各イベントに参加してもらっています。今年の5月に開催するEIHにも定員を超える子どもたちに参加してもらう可能性が出てきました。
これはチームとしてとても嬉しいことです。多くの日本の子どもたちに、英語が通じることの嬉しさを感じてほしいと思っています。また、自分の考えを英語で伝えることの難しさを感じて、だからこそ毎日の英語の勉強を頑張るようにもなってほしいと思っています。
さて、そういった私たちのイベントは、多くのグループリーダーの協力によって成り立っています。毎回のご協力が本当に有難いですが、2025年の活動は、多くの留学生の皆様にご協力していただかないと成り立ちません。
KEIAサイトでも、GICやEIHのグループリーダーの募集を行っていますが、皆さんのご予定に合わせてぜひお申込みを頂ければと思います。
