Hello, EIC family! I’m Koto and I participated in EIC 2019.

What are you doing now?

Now I am in elementary school grade 6. I read many kinds of books every day. I read novels, comics or newspapers. My favorite comics are “Attack on titan”, “Cells at work”, “Chiikawa” and many more. Of course I’m studying English and math very hard. Also, I’ve been reading English comics to study English. They are difficult, but I’m very happy when I understand English. So I’ve come to like study recently.

What do you remember about EIC?

Of course I remember a lot of things about EIC!! What impressed the most was Day 5 “Amazing Japan.” I enjoyed being able to introduce everyone to the wonderful things about my hometown. I learned about the interesting traditions, food, architecture of everyone’s hometown. It was so moved!! And I made a lot of friends in EIC!! I still love them to this day!

What is your next challenge or goal?

Well, I want to speak English completely because my English is so poor and nonsensical. I want to understand English which is the universal language, and get along with people from many different countries. Moreover, I want to join a volunteer of Osaka Expo in 2025.

Message to EIC Family

Firstly, I want to say thank you for being really good friends and teaching me many things. I am no longer afraid to speak in front of people, thanks to this EIC. Also, I learned how hard and how fun to speak English. That summer was the most enjoyable memories that I have ever spent..

Thank you for reading.

We are looking forward to your comments and words of encouragement 🙂
