Your GIC2025 Well-Done Points helped kids in India!
Hello everyone!
This is Tina, Camp Leader from Sierra Leone in GIC 2024 and 2025.
I hope you are all safe, healthy, and doing well!
Do you remember Well-Done Points ?
At GIC2025, you worked hard, joined activities, and collected so many of them. The GNT staff told you that these points would be turned into money to help children in other countries.
Guess what?
It really happened! Today, I’m so happy to share how your Well-Done Points brought smiles and hope to children in India.
🌳 Visiting a Village in Bannerghatta
Our first stop was a small village in a forest area near Bangalore.
The children here don’t have schools, books, or many chances to learn.
We held a fun program with music, stories, English lessons, and games.
Over 100 children joined, and each received a book, stationery, and snacks. Their families also received support to make life a little easier.
🎉 A Concert in the Slum Community
Next, we visited a slum area in Bangalore and hosted a big children’s concert!
More than 300 children came together for singing, games, and celebration.
Thanks to your Well-Done Points, we shared special gifts from Japan along with school supplies and snacks. The kids were so excited, it was a rare chance to feel celebrated and cared for.

🚐 Road Trip to Natamagala Villages
We also traveled five hours to reach two remote villages in Natamagala.
In each village, about 80 children joined our program. We played games, taught English words, danced, and laughed together.
Every child received books and stationery, and we gave support to the village caretaker so the children could continue learning.
🌍 A Mission of Hope
In total, more than 600 children received supplies, food, and encouragement during this trip. Because of Kumon’s support (and your Well-Done Points!), we could reach 50–80 more children than planned!
Even simple things, a notebook, learning a new English word, or being cheered for in a song, brought so much joy and hope.
