OBOG return to the Camp (Online)
Due to the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, we have unfortunately decided not to hold any physical camps for the fiscal year 2022, we have decided to hold it online.
This summer, we will hold an online Global Immersion Camp (GIC) for 3rd to 6th grade Japanese elementary school students. We are recruiting past participants of English Immersion Camp (EIC), who are enthusiastic about sharing their experience (6 positions).
Aim of OBOG Participation
- To give you an opportunity as a past EIC participant to share your experience and inspire the generation that follows.
- To continue to strengthen our EIC family spirit by having you as a past EIC participant to come back as a role model for younger generation.

Let’s hear from them!

I was so impressed by all the CS and CLs’ hard work in this EIC. Besides, I’m not sure about how much I could contribute to EIC, but it was a really nice experience for me. Before joining EIC as VCS, I didn’t know how hard CLs prepared for EIC and the fact that they were sometimes struggled to find out how to deal with kids. I’m really glad that I could realize them. I felt really thankful to my CLs in EIC 2010 and 2011 for giving me a really wonderful experience.
(Nanako EIC2010)

EIC is my precious place, where I learned a lot about this world and got my dream of working for international cooperation. This year, I applied for VCS because I wanted to pay it forward. It was a great learning experience for me to observe how the camo is organized at the backstage. Also, through preparing my presentation, “What I have challenged after EIC” and thinking about how I can have an impact on children, I could reflect upon myself and improve my presentation and communication skills. I could learn a lot in EIC2019, as I did in EIC 2010 and 2011. I would love to come back to EIC again. I am really looking forward to the opportunity!
